We are the place where you can live and find a special care… a personalized attention. Where what you would like to have it is expressly designed for you.
We love the experience of serving our guests, to attend them and to pamper them, to let them feel as if they would “stay at home”.
Today we would like to introduce you to a young professional, great colleague and an essential part of our Atelier’s team: CLAUDIA.
Where did it all start?
Everything started when I gave up my studies and decided to discover the job market. I used to tell my mother I wanted to get emancipated between 18 and 25 years old and it was at 21 when I made a decision. I chose hotel industry as I thought it would be easier to get a job, enrolled in a course and then started working as a trainee at Bohemia Suites & Spa. They offered me my first contract ever. Although it was a replacement contract at first, I currently belong to the staff and am very grateful.
Where is your favourite place on the island?
This island offers many beautiful places but I will always prefer my town (Firgas) and also Pozo Izquierdo (Santa Lucía de Tirajana).
Firgas. Tasteful waterfall cascade on Paseo de Canarias
How do you like to spend your spare time?
In my spare time, I like to go surfing with my friends. You forget about reality when you are in the ocean and it is all about waiting for the next great wave. Family is also fundamental for me and I visit my relatives quite often.
How would you define yourself in three words?
Which three words best describe me? Perfectionist, kind and curious.
What are you most passionate about in your work?
he most interesting point of this job is that you will learn something new every day.
What’s your favourite cocktail?
We offer an interesting variety of cocktails you can choose for every occasion. If I were listening to music while enjoying the panoramic views from Atelier during my holidays and someone asked which cocktail I would order it would be the “English Breakfast”: Simple, short but intense and with a cute presentation by the way.
Any funny stories?
I also enrolled in a decorating degree later. Funnily enough, they took all the students to Bohemia Suites & Spa to prepare the final essay. I then discovered that there was an agreement between the academy and the hotel and I did not think twice. It seems destiny brought me here after all!
What do you consider the most important quality in someone?
I think trust is one of the most important virtues in life. Not only trust in others but also in yourself.
What’s your motto?
“If someone else has done it, I can do it too. If it hasn’t been done yet, then I must be the first one” is my motto.
